FRESH HOP FESTIVAL 2026

We’re back at it again this year with our second annual Fresh Hop Festival. Enjoy a day of super fresh beer, live music and fantastic company. 

Join us at Good George Dining Hall, Hamilton, from 2–10pm on Saturday, April 18th for fresh beer, fresh cider, guest taps from some of NZ’s best craft breweries, live music, and a proper good time.

The original Good George bar and the beating heart of our brewery. Housed in a converted 1960s church on Somerset Street, Hamilton, this is where the magic happens. Grab a seat inside or under the brew tanks in our garden bar and soak up the sights, smells, and sounds of fresh beer and cider being crafted right before your eyes. Our award-winning brewers work their magic on-site, and if you're curious about how the good stuff comes to life, join one of our Brewery & Distillery Tours, held weekly, for a behind-the-scenes look.

Good George beer and cider is brewed right here on site, unpasteurised and poured fresh from tank to table.

Want to take the good stuff home? Grab squealers, cans, cocktails, gins and even whisky from our on-site bottle shop – stocked daily 'til 10pm.
